Key Responsibilities

You will be a vital part of the production line, ensuring finished products meet high standards before they leave the facility. Your core duties will include:

  • Performing general production and packing tasks, following set processes to maintain workflow and quality.
  • Carefully packing and wrapping finished sheets of aluminium for storage and dispatch, ensuring they are protected and organised.
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of finished products, using safe manual handling techniques.
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and maintain a smooth operational flow.
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe, adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Remaining flexible to work reasonable overtime and different shift patterns as required by production needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are reliable, physically capable, and eager to learn. The ideal fit for this role will have:

  • A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude towards physical, repetitive tasks.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and supporting colleagues.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure packing and wrapping are completed accurately and to standard.
  • Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, standing, and moving materials.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work morning (6 AM – 2 PM) or afternoon (2 PM – 10 PM) shifts.
  • Own transport is advantageous due to the shift times, but the site is also accessible via public transport.
  • No prior specific experience is necessary as full training is provided; a willingness to learn is key.
