Key Responsibilities
As a Facility Technician at Foxconn, you will be the frontline expert maintaining our operational readiness. Your core duties will include:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of facility equipment and systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge.
- Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and reassembling equipment according to technical plans and specifications.
- Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for parts, tools, and supplies.
- Assisting operations teams in resolving process and equipment performance issues promptly.
- Performing general administrative tasks related to building sanitation, organization, and overall functionality.
- Embracing and championing a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all protocols, regulations, and participating fully in safety training.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified and reliable professional with a solid technical foundation. The requirements are:
- An Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Facility Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
- Working knowledge of equipment repair operations and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Fundamental electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office for record-keeping and communication.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Electrical-Mechanical and forklift operation certifications are preferred.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, walking, and working in various environmental conditions.
Physical Demands: Role requires regular movement, lifting, and work in diverse indoor/outdoor environments.
