Key Responsibilities

In this behind-the-scenes role, you’ll ensure our coaches are presentation-perfect for the next day’s adventures. Your main tasks will include:

  • Performing thorough interior cleaning of coaches, including vacuuming floors and seats, wiping down all surfaces, and cleaning windows.
  • Ensuring all onboard facilities are sanitized and restocked as required.
  • Emptying rubbish bins and managing waste from the vehicles.
  • Conducting exterior washes and basic detailing to keep our fleet looking its best.
  • Following all cleaning checklists and procedures to meet RealNZ’s high standards of presentation and hygiene.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or damage noticed during cleaning to the appropriate team lead.
  • Working safely and efficiently within the depot during evening hours.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a reliable individual who takes pride in a job well done. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence is essential.
  • A strong eye for detail and a conscientious approach to completing all tasks thoroughly.
  • Reliability and the ability to work unsupervised during evening shifts.
  • Good physical fitness for a role that involves bending, reaching, and moving around the vehicles.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn we provide full training!
  • While not required, any experience with heavy vehicles, machinery, or professional cleaning is a bonus.
