 Key Responsibilities

Your diligent work ensures our school remains a point of pride for the entire community. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Performing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning all whiteboards to prepare classrooms for the next day of learning.
• Maintaining strict standards of sanitation by scrubbing and disinfecting restrooms, toilets, and all drinking fountains on a daily basis.
• Ensuring the safety and security of the building by checking that all exit doors are locked and secure during hours of occupancy.
• Keeping the grounds safe and neat by removing rubbish from play areas and participating in snow removal and salting of sidewalks and driveways.
• Contributing to the overall preservation of our facilities by washing windows, both inside and out, and keeping all floors in an attractive condition.
• Communicating effectively with the day custodian to stay updated on any projects or issues that need attention during your shift.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable individuals who are ready to contribute to our school’s mission. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• The physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds and use an eight-foot ladder for light tasks.
• The ability to read and follow instructions for cleaning supplies and procedures.
• A strong sense of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality on all school-related matters.
• A dependable and proactive work ethic, with a commitment to the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
