Australia Post is looking for an Electric Vehicle Delivery Driver to join our permanent, full-time team in Noosaville. In this role, you’ll be the heart of daily connections, delivering mail and parcels using our modern 3-wheeled electric vehicles. With early morning starts and the independence of the road, you’ll enjoy working outdoors while being fully supported by experienced mentors. Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for the final stage of the delivery journey, ensuring every item reaches its destination safely and on time.

• Start your day at the Noosaville Delivery Centre, sorting mail and small parcels with your team before heading out on your route.
• Conduct a daily safety check on your electric 3-wheeled delivery vehicle and load it efficiently for the day’s deliveries.
• Deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses across your designated community route in all types of weather.
• Work autonomously on the road while being a cooperative team player, supported by our dedicated Rider Mentors for ongoing development.
• Interact professionally and courteously with the public, representing Australia Post positively at every stop.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable individuals who meet our operational and safety requirements.

• A full or probationary Australian driver’s licence (issued by QLD, WA, SA, or ACT) is mandatory.
• The ability to successfully pass our mandatory practical riding assessment.
• Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
• Excellent attention to detail, a good memory, and the physical capability to regularly lift mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• For safety and vehicle compliance, you must be able to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kg or less.
