Key Responsibilities

You’ll be a key representative of Veltman’s Hauling, responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials that build our communities.

• Drive automatic Class A or B dump trucks to transport asphalt, millings, rock, dirt, and other materials to and from job sites, strictly adhering to all safety and DOT regulations.
• Perform hauling duties for either night shift (primarily asphalt and millings) or day shift (asphalt, rock, millings, dig/tear out, dirt). Experience with tailgate spreading is a valuable asset.
•  Represent the company with a professional, customer-friendly attitude at all times, ensuring on-time deliveries and efficient operations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on newer model trucks (2021-2025) and maintain accurate driving logs and documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for seasoned drivers with specific experience who take pride in their work.

• A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement is required. (Automatic transmission trucks only no manual endorsement needed).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in dump trucking or off-road work is mandatory. Experience in asphalt hauling is a strong plus.
• A professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
• A clean driving record and a commitment to safety are expected.
• Experience with tailgate spreading operations is beneficial.
