Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation that keeps our operations moving. Your daily duties will include:
- Safely operating company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and internal policies, ensuring timely arrivals and departures across Benoi and surrounding industrial areas.
- Performing meticulous pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs or defects immediately.
- Executing a variety of transportation assignments, which may include delivering equipment, supplies, or personnel as required.
- Maintaining precise logs for travel, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle usage in accordance with company procedures.
- Assisting with the secure loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Collaborating effectively with team members across different divisions to ensure seamless operational support.
Qualifications
To be effective in this role, you should possess:
- A valid Class 3 (or higher) Singapore driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, with a preference for candidates familiar with industrial or marine sector logistics.
- A strong understanding of road safety regulations and a steadfast commitment to following company transport policies.
- Good communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent time management and the ability to adapt to schedule changes and route adjustments efficiently.
- Good knowledge of local geography, specifically the Benoi Road area and adjacent industrial zones.
