Key Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in supporting daily operations and driving the store’s success. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Store Manager in implementing sales strategies to attract and retain customers, with a strong focus on revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Leading by example on the sales floor, providing exceptional service, and actively engaging at the register to enhance every customer interaction.
- Supporting inventory management, assisting with intakes, and helping to maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Educating and coaching team members on product knowledge, compliance protocols, POS systems, and loss prevention.
- Opening and closing the store independently, handling cash management, and ensuring end-of-day procedures are completed accurately.
- Assisting with staff scheduling, addressing customer complaints professionally, and acting as the management representative when the Store Manager is not present.
Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable leader with a solid retail foundation. The ideal candidate will possess:
- 1-3 years of retail management experience or equivalent proven leadership skills.
- Experience with POS and inventory management systems.
- The ability to motivate a team, solve problems effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a professional business manner.
- Must be at least 21 years of age, able to pass a background check, and obtain/maintain all required Missouri state cannabis licensing.
- A results-oriented commitment to quality, performance, and driving sales.
