Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Agent, you’ll be the friendly face representing NZ Post in your community. Your daily work will include:
- Sorting and preparing mail and parcels at our Ellerslie branch.
- Delivering mail and packages along your assigned route using sustainable e-vehicles (Paxters and eBikes).
- Providing excellent service and interacting with customers in a positive, professional manner.
- Ensuring accuracy in deliveries and addressing details.
- Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and teamwork every day.
- Upholding NZ Post’s values of delivering excellence and bringing your real self to work.
Rain or shine, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver for New Zealand.
Qualifications
We’re looking for reliable, motivated people who take pride in doing a great job. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Availability to work on a 4-day rotating roster (Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:25 PM).
- At least a restricted New Zealand driver’s licence (required).
- A good level of physical fitness to handle an active, outdoor role.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills for accurate mail sorting.
- A genuine focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Commitment to following health and safety guidelines.
