About the Position
This is a vital, full-time position (40 hours per week) where you will be an integral part of our care team. We have a strong preference for Day Shift availability. Your work ensures our facility meets the highest standards of hygiene and comfort, creating a home environment that honors the service of our Veterans. Your Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks are essential to the health, safety, and happiness of our Veteran residents.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all assigned areas of the Home, including resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms through dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and scrubbing.
- Perform floor care duties such as waxing, buffing, and spot cleaning.
- Safely move furniture and equipment to clean all spaces completely.
- Operate and maintain various power-driven equipment like industrial vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers.
- Climb ladders or stairs and reach overhead to clean vents, windows, and light fixtures.
- Properly handle and apply all cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and disinfectants according to safety protocols.
- Restock all soap, paper towel, and toiletry dispensers throughout the facility.
- Collaborate closely with the nursing staff to prioritize tasks and support the overall care environment.
