Key Responsibilities
You will be a cornerstone of our crisis center team, providing direct, person-centered support in a dynamic environment.
- Provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals in crisis, assisting with daily needs and engaging them to create a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitor the unit for safety, share critical observations with the clinical team, and assist with medication administration following L1MA training protocols.
- Actively contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming center atmosphere and serve as a mentor to new staff members.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including Triage Clinicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with empathy, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a psychiatric, nursing, emergency room, or similar direct-care setting is highly valued.
- A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency-established minimum automobile insurance coverage.
- The ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional when supporting individuals in distress.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong commitment to creating a safe and respectful care environment.
