Key Responsibilities

You will be a cornerstone of our crisis center team, providing direct, person-centered support in a dynamic environment.

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals in crisis, assisting with daily needs and engaging them to create a safe and supportive environment.
  • Monitor the unit for safety, share critical observations with the clinical team, and assist with medication administration following L1MA training protocols.
  • Actively contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming center atmosphere and serve as a mentor to new staff members.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including Triage Clinicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with empathy, reliability, and a commitment to safety.

  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a psychiatric, nursing, emergency room, or similar direct-care setting is highly valued.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency-established minimum automobile insurance coverage.
  • The ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional when supporting individuals in distress.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong commitment to creating a safe and respectful care environment.
