Job Responsibilities
As a Porter at Fowler Ford, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our dealership and vehicles always look their best.
- Drive customer vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Drive vehicles through the car wash to ensure they’re clean and presentable.
- Clean driveways and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
- Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
- Park vehicles in the vehicle lot in an orderly manner.
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
- Wash and prepare new and used vehicles for lot display.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
