Truck Driver Need In Taiwan – Open to International Workers

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to operate a dump truck and other related trucks requiring a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). This position is based at our Shop & Yard in Upper Marlboro, MD. You will handle hauling materials throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia, meeting delivery schedules while safely operating your assigned commercial motor vehicle. If you have an active Class-A CDL, a current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one), and at least one year of experience hauling materials, we want to hear from you. Three or more years of experience is preferred. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a satisfactory driving record, the ability to pass a road test and DOT background check, and compliance with federal drug/alcohol testing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a dump truck and other related commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently.
Meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Document hours of service (HOS) as required by federal and state law.
Maneuver vehicles into position to load and unload materials.
Ensure proper handling and completion of paperwork, including bills of lading and receipts.
Inspect equipment before and after trips, reporting any defects promptly.
Drive safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure proper securement of loads according to regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading materials by hand as needed.
Adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic and weather conditions.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned, including training others.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Qualifications

Active Class-A CDL required.
Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one) required.
1 or more years of experience in operating a commercial motor vehicle hauling materials required; 3+ years preferred.
Satisfactory driving record, able to be underwritten by insurer and meet company requirements.
Ability to pass road test demonstrating pre- and post-trip inspections, safe operation, and load securement.
Satisfactory DOT background check.
Ability to assist with loading/unloading materials by hand.
Ability to drive throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test (subject to federal regulations for drug/alcohol testing).
Reliability and punctuality essential.
