Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be trained to become an expert in maintaining and servicing life-saving equipment.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to service, inspect, and repack life rafts and other related marine or aviation survival equipment in our Nelson workshop.
  • You will follow strict manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards to ensure every piece of equipment is certified and ready for use.
  • Maintaining meticulous service records and documentation for each unit is a critical part of the job.
  • You will work closely with your manager and team, learning from their expertise while also developing the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  • A conscientious approach and great attention to detail are essential, as the quality of your work directly impacts the safety of the end-user.
  • You will use basic computer systems to log work and manage service schedules.

Qualifications
