Key Responsibilities
You will be a key link in our supply chain, ensuring products reach their destinations safely and on time. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating an assigned delivery vehicle to shuttle orders accurately from the warehouse to various store locations and return.
- Loading and unloading all products for your assigned vehicle at each stop, handling items with care.
- Performing basic vehicle care and maintenance checks (e.g., fluid levels, cleanliness) and maintaining accurate time and mileage logs.
- Providing professional and courteous service at each location, handling any customer concerns promptly and reporting them to management.
- Adhering strictly to all company policies, including safe driving procedures outlined in the Driver’s Handbook and Fleet Safety Policy.
- Maintaining a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) at all times.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) prior to hire.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- A professional, customer-service oriented attitude with the ability to handle situations tactfully.
- The physical ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform loading/unloading tasks involving bending, stooping, and standing.
- Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule during first-shift hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Basic computer skills are beneficial.
