Key Responsibilities
Your role is essential to the mobile unit’s success, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming presence.
- Safely operate the Mobile Health Unit in compliance with all vehicle specifications and safety protocols, ensuring security at all community event sites.
- Perform inventory management of medical equipment and supplies, and assist with the maintenance of testing equipment.
- Support health screening events by assisting with recordkeeping, documentation, and patient testing procedures as trained and assigned per competency.
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Saint Peter’s, interacting with community members and healthcare professionals with excellent communication skills.
- Manage logistical details for each mobile health visit, including site setup and breakdown.
Qualifications
We are looking for a responsible individual who meets the following criteria:
- A current New Jersey Driver’s License in good standing, with a minimum of one year of experience driving large vehicles.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, as approved by the American Heart Association, is required.
- An Associate’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- Strong skills in data management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- The ability to quickly learn patient testing procedures and the operation of related medical equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with a diverse public and professional team.
