Your Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering thorough cleaning services to a high standard at various client locations. Your core duties will include:
- Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and soft furnishings to remove dust and debris.
- Cleaning, dusting, and polishing all furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Thoroughly cleaning and polishing hard floor surfaces.
- Removing rubbish and waste materials from the premises and ensuring bins are emptied.
- Using industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment to clean floors, work areas, and machinery.
- Cleaning high and low areas, including dusting ceilings, walls, light fixtures, and overhead pipes.
- Applying appropriate cleaning solvents and chemicals safely to sanitise floors and surfaces.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We are looking for candidates who are ready for a physical, flexible role. The key requirements are:
- A current, valid full New Zealand driver’s licence.
- The ability and willingness to work a non-standard schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts between 7:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work unsupervised to a high standard.
- The ability to pass pre-employment checks, including a drug test and a police check.
While at least six months of prior cleaning experience is desirable, it is not mandatory. We provide full initial training to all successful applicants who have the right attitude and meet the essential criteria.
