Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Associate, you will be integral to our clinical teams, with duties equivalent to a Medical Officer. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing the total care of patients under your charge in the ward, including assessment, treatment, and daily reviews.
- Assisting in the running of outpatient specialty clinics under consultant supervision.
- Providing support in the operating theatre for relevant surgical disciplines.
- Participating in ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and handover procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation for all patients.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must satisfy the following requirements set by the Singapore Medical Council for temporary registration:
- A basic Medical Degree from a university accredited in the country of award.
- Passing the relevant national licensing exam in your country of qualification (where applicable).
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years of post-housemanship experience as a Medical Officer in a relevant specialty.
- Evidence of active clinical practice for the 3 years immediately prior to application.
- Proof of English proficiency via IELTS, TOEFL, or OET.
- Candidates with completed residency training and relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MD, MSc, DNB) will have a distinct advantage.
