Key Responsibilities
As the Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen’s success, with key duties including:

- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality, delicious meals.
- Overseeing all daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe service.
- Creating, costing, and updating seasonal menus and specials to manage food costs and excite our members.
- Managing inventory, ordering, and stock control with a focus on minimising waste.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all Food Safety Standards and Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
- Handling weekly rostering, training for junior staff, and fostering a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
- Providing excellent communication and contributing to a team-oriented environment across the club.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and passionate professional with:
- A minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior kitchen leadership role.
- Strong culinary skills, creativity, and a passion for food quality and presentation.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
- Strengths in inventory control, cost management, and menu planning.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining standards.
- A reliable, flexible nature with a positive “can-do” attitude and outstanding customer service ethos.
