Key Responsibilities
You will be the operational nerve center, managing the flow of information and ensuring every journey runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Manage Customer Interactions: Professionally handle all inbound customer service calls, schedule bookings, and provide clear, helpful information.
- Coordinate Dispatch Operations: Efficiently dispatch cabs, monitor driver locations and trip progress in real-time, and coordinate with drivers to guarantee timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Resolve Operational Issues: Proactively identify and resolve any trip-related issues or customer concerns quickly and effectively to maintain service quality.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep precise and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities, calls, and bookings to ensure accountability and smooth operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for a composed and communicative individual who can handle the pace and pressure of a dispatch environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn and use call-handling and dispatch software quickly.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced work setting.
- Willingness and ability to work long 12-hour shifts on a 4-day weekly roster.
- While prior experience in customer service or dispatch is an advantage, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
