Key Responsibilities

You will play a direct role in maintaining the health, comfort, and dignity of our residents through impeccable environmental services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Following established cleaning schedules to maintain all assigned areas, including resident rooms, common spaces, and the laundry facility.
• Cleaning walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and floors using approved procedures and products.
• Ensuring an adequate supply of clean linen is always available by operating laundry equipment, folding, and distributing linens.
• Safely disposing of trash and biohazardous waste in strict accordance with facility policies.
• Using all personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemicals safely, following labels and MSDS instructions.
• Coordinating daily tasks with nursing staff to minimize disruption to residents.
• Posting appropriate safety signage during cleaning activities to ensure the well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

• A friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team setting with residents, families, and staff.
• Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A keen attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures for safety and infection control.
• Previous experience in environmental services or laundry within a healthcare or senior living setting is preferred, but not required for the right candidate with a willingness to learn.
