Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, corridors, and storage areas to a high standard.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities as needed.
• Handle guest laundry and report any lost property in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Keep housekeeping equipment clean and in good condition, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain key security and stay observant to ensure guest safety.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations for the proper use and storage of cleaning products.

Qualifications

• Flexible and adaptable, able to respond effectively to changing priorities.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with both guests and team members.

Salary Range

NZD $25.00 – $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Entry-level candidates typically start at $25 per hr.
• Experienced hotel room attendants may earn up to $27 per hr

Additional pay benefits include penalty rates for weekends and public holidays in accordance with New Zealand employment standards.
