FS Temporary Biology Teacher Required In Taiwan

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Temporary Life and Earth Sciences (SVT) Teacher to join our French Section team for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

The successful candidate will teach collège and lycée students, following the French National Curriculum within an international and multilingual context. The position may also include a few hours of technology teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Sciences et Vie de la Terre (SVT) to secondary students (collège and lycée) in line with the French Ministry of Education programs.
  • Create engaging, differentiated lessons that support multilingual learners and diverse academic needs.
  • Foster curiosity, scientific inquiry, and independent thinking among students.
  • Integrate digital tools (Google Education, MS Office) into classroom learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Support and mentor a group of students as a professeur référent.
  • Maintain positive, professional communication with students, parents, and staff.
  • Promote the school’s values of respect, inclusion, and excellence.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Demonstrates high proficiency in French (native or near-native) and at least C1 level English.
  • Has teaching qualifications such as a Master’s in Education, PGCE, CAPES, or equivalent.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life and Earth Sciences (Biology, Geology, or related field).
  • Has experience teaching at the secondary level, ideally within the French National Education system.
  • Embraces collaborative, student-centered pedagogy and multicultural education.
  • Is adaptable, organized, and eager to contribute to a dynamic international community.
  • Values teamwork, innovation, and reflective teaching practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in international schools or bilingual programs.
  • Familiarity with multicultural environments and integrated curricula (French, British, German, etc.).
  • Additional language teaching certifications (TESOL, DELTA, DELF) are an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary
