Key Responsibilities

Container Collection and Delivery: Collect and deliver JR containers by rail, ensuring goods are transported safely and according to schedule.
Goods Transport: Transport goods to key locations using large trucks, coordinating with dispatchers to optimize routes and delivery times.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods manually when required, and operate forklifts to move heavy items efficiently.
Vehicle Operation: Drive large trucks and operate forklifts with skill and care, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Schedule Adherence: Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules, managing time effectively to meet daily targets.
Equipment Checks: Perform basic pre trip and post trip inspections on vehicles and forklifts, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid large vehicle license and a forklift license. A forklift driving skills training certificate is also required. You should be able to speak everyday Japanese and be physically fit, as the role involves manual loading and unloading tasks. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. The following residence statuses are accepted: Permanent Resident, Spouse or Child of a Japanese National, Spouse or Child of a Permanent Resident, Long Term Resident, Japanese Nationality, Special Permanent Resident, and Specified Skilled Worker with a Driver’s License.

Benefits and Perks

This role offers a starting salary of ¥350,000 per month, with opportunities for salary increases and bonuses based on performance. Company housing and a dormitory are available, with rent partially covered by the employee. Transportation expenses are provided up to ¥32,000 per month. You will work approximately 60 hours of overtime per month, with six days off per month and two days off every other week. Sundays are designated holidays, and you will enjoy 110 days off per year, including Golden Week, summer vacation, and winter vacation. Paid vacation and special leave are also available.
