What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely Transport Grain and Agronomy Products:Â You’ll load, transport, and deliver products to customers, ensuring everything arrives safely and on time.
- Perform Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections:Â Check your truck and equipment before and after every trip. If something needs attention, you’ll catch it early.
- Maintain Accurate Delivery Logs:Â Keep clear records of your deliveries, hours, and any issues that come up. Communication with your supervisor is key.
- Inspect Grain Quality:Â During loading and unloading, you’ll keep an eye on product quality and ensure equipment stays clean to prevent contamination.
- Assist with Inventory and Housekeeping:Â Help maintain accurate inventory records and keep your work areas clean and organized.
- Support Applicators as Needed: When applicators need a hand, you’ll be ready to help out—teamwork makes the operation run smoothly.
- Uphold Safety Standards:Â Pro Cooperative takes safety seriously. You’ll follow all safety protocols and maintain a professional image at all times.
- Be Flexible:Â During busy seasons, you may need to work extended hours and weekends. When needed, you might also support operations at other locations.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL with Clean Driving Record:Â Required. Your record should demonstrate safe driving habits over time.
- Ability to Safely Operate and Maintain Delivery Trucks:Â You’re comfortable behind the wheel and know how to keep your equipment in good working order.
- Willingness to Work Extended Hours and Weekends:Â During peak seasons, the work doesn’t stop at 5pm. You need to be available when customers need us most.
- Accuracy with Inspections and Paperwork:Â You’ll complete required inspections and maintain accurate records. Attention to detail matters.
- Professional Attitude:Â You represent Pro Cooperative every time you’re on the road or at a customer site. A positive, professional demeanor is essential.
- Commitment to Safety:Â Safety isn’t optional. You’ll follow all procedures and set an example for others.
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly Pay:Â $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Job Type:Â Full-time
- Shift and Schedule:Â Extended hours and weekends as needed during busy seasons
- Work Location:Â In person, based out of our facility with travel to customer sites
