Goodwin is looking for Cleaners to join our team at one of our residential aged care facilities. This is more than just a cleaning role you’ll be part of a team that helps residents maintain a safe, dignified, and high-quality life. You’ll work both front and back of house, making sure common areas, resident spaces, and behind-the-scenes areas are clean, fresh, and welcoming. What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering cleaning services across the facility: You’ll clean both front-of-house areas (resident spaces, common areas) and back-of-house areas (staff areas, utility spaces) according to Goodwin’s standards.
Using chemicals safely and effectively: You’ll have a solid understanding of cleaning chemicals and how to apply them properly for different surfaces and situations.
Working independently: You’ll have areas of responsibility where you’re trusted to get the job done without someone looking over your shoulder.
Communicating with stakeholders: You’ll interact with residents, families, and other staff members in a professional, respectful way.
Contributing to resident wellbeing: The work you do directly affects the quality of life for residents. A clean, fresh environment makes a real difference.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in delivering cleaning services in private and public areas. You know how to clean properly and efficiently.
Understanding of the use and application of chemicals. You know which products to use where, and you follow safety guidelines.
Experience achieving outcomes and developing skills. You’re someone who gets things done and wants to keep improving.
Ability to work with limited supervision. You’re reliable and can be trusted to handle your responsibilities independently.
Strong interpersonal skills. You can communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
A commitment to dignity and respect. Working in aged care means treating every resident with the care they deserve.
