Your Key Responsibilities
You will be essential to our daily production, ensuring every pie meets our exacting standards. Your core duties will include:
- Producing our range of gourmet pies, pastries, and baked goods according to our trusted recipes and high-volume production schedules.
- Operating and maintaining bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Meticulously following all food safety, hygiene, and quality control protocols.
- Working collaboratively within the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
- Being adaptable and reliable for early morning start times.
The Skills
We are looking for a qualified professional with a solid foundation in commercial baking. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant Baking Qualification or Trade Certificate.
- Proven commercial or wholesale baking experience. Direct experience in pie production is a significant advantage.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and an exceptional eye for detail.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A thorough understanding of food safety standards and best practices in a production bakery.
