Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, food outlets, and storage rooms.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and dishwashing machines are properly cleaned and maintained.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow hotel sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist the culinary team in keeping the back-of-house running smoothly during busy service periods.
Follow hygiene and health & safety protocols to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Support kitchen operations to deliver excellent service for both guests and staff.

Qualifications

Required

Previous experience working with cleaning equipment and chemicals in a kitchen or hospitality setting.
A valid food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred

Prior experience as a Kitchen Porter or Steward in a hotel or restaurant.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for hospitality and service excellence.
