Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, food outlets, and storage rooms.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and dishwashing machines are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow hotel sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Assist the culinary team in keeping the back-of-house running smoothly during busy service periods.
  • Follow hygiene and health & safety protocols to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Support kitchen operations to deliver excellent service for both guests and staff.

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience working with cleaning equipment and chemicals in a kitchen or hospitality setting.
  • A valid food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Porter or Steward in a hotel or restaurant.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for hospitality and service excellence.
