What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

Making deliveries that matter: You’ll transport cargo from Narita International Airport to Misawa Air Base or Yokota Air Base, making sure every shipment arrives intact and on schedule.
Sticking to the route: You’ll follow pre-planned routes carefully without deviation, using the transportation facilities guide to stay on track.
Keeping in touch: You’ll call origin and destination customers to give updates, especially if there are changes to pickup or delivery times. Clear communication is key.
Checking your vehicle: You’ll do regular inspections to catch any issues early, handle basic maintenance, and report bigger concerns to the coordinator.
Staying compliant: You’ll follow all local and international driving regulations, making sure permits and licenses are always current.
Logging your trips: You’ll keep accurate records of distances, fuel use, and any incidents along the way so everything is documented.
Putting safety first: Every trip, every day, you’ll prioritize your safety, the cargo’s security, and everyone else on the road.

What We Need From You

You’re a US citizen living within 80 kilometers of Yokohama, Japan, or you’re willing to relocate to that area.
You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that shows you take the road seriously.
You’re comfortable with routes that may require multiple deliveries in a single day.
You can communicate clearly by phone in English, giving updates and handling any questions professionally.
You pay attention to the little things following routes exactly, securing cargo properly, and keeping accurate logs.
You understand the importance of handling sensitive shipments with care and discretion.
You’re physically able to perform the duties of the job, including loading and securing cargo as needed.
