Key Responsibilities
- Perform the verified 8 Step Sanitation process to clean and sanitize food processing plants, ensuring compliance with all food safety and safety policies and procedures.
- Engage in physical activities including lifting, pushing, and pulling sanitation equipment as part of daily duties.
- Work with and around PSSI issued sanitation chemicals, following all safety protocols and using provided personal protective equipment.
- Operate in wet, hot, and or cold environments, with all necessary gear provided to ensure your comfort and safety.
- Learn and adhere to specific safety protocols, including the use of lockout tagout procedures and other required measures.
- Complete tasks efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall sanitation and safety of the facility.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and prepare for career advancement.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to apply. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training we will provide. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull equipment is required. Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions and to work with sanitation chemicals is essential. A commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork is critical. Candidates must be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
