Responsibilities
- Drive Class 5 trucks to drop off fresh produce around Christchurch.
- Load and unload fruit and veggies at the Sockburn depot, maybe using a forklift.
- Keep safety first on the road and at the depot.
- Hit delivery deadlines and follow T&G’s processes.
- Give great service to customers.
- Check trucks before shifts to keep them in top shape.
Qualifications
Education
No school degree needed; a valid Class 5 driver’s license is a must.
Experience
Driving Class 5 trucks or using forklifts is a plus, but not required.
Skills
- Safe, reliable driver who puts customers first.
- Cool with 10:00 PM starts and some weekend shifts.
- Big on safety, especially on the road.
- Good at sticking to schedules and following directions.
- Upbeat attitude and works well with the team.
- Forklift ‘F’ endorsement or OSH certification is a bonus.
