Key Responsibilities

Feed, handle, and monitor the health of beef cattle and other livestock
Clean, disinfect, and maintain stables, barns, and pens to ensure animal welfare
Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops including onions and sugar beets
Weed, grade, and sort onions while monitoring crops for disease and pests
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot farm machinery such as tractors, tillage equipment, manure spreaders, and farm trucks
Maintain beekeeping equipment and perform tasks related to leafcutter bees
Perform general farm duties as required, including supporting team members on various projects

Qualifications

No formal education required; practical farming or livestock experience is an asset
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Physically fit for standing, walking, lifting, and performing demanding farm tasks
Organized, quick learner, and a reliable team player
Familiarity with farm machinery and hand tools is advantageous
English language proficiency is required
Availability for full-time day and weekend shifts, including overtime
