What the Role Entails
- Highly Mobile Days: You’ll be out and about, solving problems for scheduled and call-up customers across various locations.
- Constant Learning: Every day brings new challenges. You’ll be continuously learning and delivering solutions to overcome a wide variety of pest problems.
- Integrated Pest Management: Apply IPM principles to understand the bigger picture and pest behaviours, not just treat symptoms.
- Rabbit Fumigation, Shooting, and Baited Carrot Operations: Hands-on pest control in rural and bushland settings.
- City Bushland, Domestic and Commercial Rodent Control: Work across diverse environments, from urban bushland to homes and businesses.
- Urban and Commercial Insect Control: Tackle insect issues in city and commercial settings.
- Urban and Commercial Bird Control: Manage bird populations in urban and commercial areas.
- Wilding Pine Control: Contribute to managing wilding pine spread as part of our broader services.
What We’re Looking For
Essentials:
- Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence: Required for getting to and between job sites.
Qualities:
- Diligent Attitude: You maintain high standards on every job, no matter how big or small.
- Capable and Independent Problem Solver: You can work on your own, figure things out, and get the job done.
- Holistic Thinker: You can think beyond the everyday tools to understand the root cause of a problem and suggest a lasting solution.
Desired (but not essential):
- Qualified Pest Technician
- Experience in urban pest control
- Handlers certificates
- Firearms licence
- LUV unit standards
