This role will involve final trim, road preparation, and general grading duties across a range of sites. About the Role

As a Grader Operator, you’ll play a key role in delivering quality civil projects across Christchurch. You’ll be responsible for operating a grader for final trim and road construction works, spreading and levelling materials, and working closely with site supervisors and ground crews. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of levels, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. What You’ll Be Doing

Operating a grader for final trim and road construction works.
Spreading and levelling basecourse and subgrade materials.
Reading and working from site plans and levels.
Carrying out pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
Working closely with site supervisors and ground crews.
Maintaining strict health and safety standards at all times.
Assisting on-site where required.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience operating graders in civil environments.
WTR endorsements and relevant licences.
Strong understanding of levels and final trim work.
Beneficial if able to operate diggers, skid steers, and bobcats.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to start ASAP.
