Key Responsibilities
As an Appliance Delivery and Installation Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving a 26′ box truck safely and efficiently along delivery routes.
- Properly loading and unloading goods from the box truck, ensuring items are secure during transport.
- Installing appliance power cords for washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, and over-the-range microwaves.
- Connecting water lines to refrigerators as required.
- Safely and diligently moving products within customers’ homes, protecting floors and walls during the process.
- Providing excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and installations.
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed during loading, unloading, transportation, and installation processes.
- Helping with route planning to ensure timely deliveries to multiple locations.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience is a must for this role. We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience driving a 26′ box truck.
- Experience in appliance installation, including proper hookup of power cords and water lines.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and loading/unloading procedures.
- Strong knowledge of safe lifting and moving techniques.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward customers and team members.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
Schedule and Compensation
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Expected Hours: 20 – 60 per week (flexible based on demand)
- Pay: $150.00 – $175.00 per day
- Work Location: In person (on the road and in customers’ homes)
