We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team. You will perform chemical and microbiological analyses, inspections, and advanced testing including assays using cell lines and viruses/toxins. You will systematically use multichannel micropipettes and optical microscopes, support method validation, and ensure data integrity to support production. Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing, including complex and diversified assays, on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, submitting results for supervisor approval.
- Conduct inspection and sampling activities, including complex procedures, in compliance with standard operating procedures and GMP regulations.
- Execute tests involving cell lines and viruses/toxins, ensuring maximum accuracy and compliance with biosafety regulations.
- Systematically perform tests using multichannel micropipettes and optical microscopes with reproducibility and precision.
Instrumentation and Support
- Maintain laboratory instruments in efficient working condition, performing routine checks, basic maintenance, and promptly reporting any anomalies.
- Perform auxiliary operations to support analytical activities, including solution preparation, reagent management, and work area cleaning.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree preferred in Quality Control, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- Candidates with a technical diploma and proven relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or quality control laboratory sectors is preferred.
- Experience with analytical techniques such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, cytotoxicity assays, cell viability testing, or viral/toxin assays is a strong advantage.
