Job Title
Fabricator / Welder
Responsibilities
- Substances and mount the components of the irrigation system including pipes, valves and frames.
- Use me, tig and pin welding for mounting and repair works.
- Read the plan and technical images exactly.
- Maintain equipment, equipment and safety standards in the workshop.
- Install both workshop -based and on -site fields.
- Cut, grind, and shape metal using manual and semi-automatic equipment.
- Keep all welds neat, strong, and within specifications.
- Support the team on various custom build projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
No formal education required. Welding trade or TAFE certificate is a plus.
Experience
Minimum 2 years in welding/fabrication roles. Experience in agricultural or irrigation settings is a benefit.
