Key Responsibilities
As a Transport Driver, you will be a trusted companion for clients on their healthcare journeys. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating a company-provided fleet vehicle (equipped with tablet, navigation, and safety camera) to transport clients to and from non-emergency medical appointments across Oregon.
- Ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining a professional, courteous, and supportive demeanor with every client.
- Performing regular vehicle checks to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition before each shift.
- Being available for flexible hours, primarily Monday to Friday, with early morning starts (5:00 AM availability is a must) and the potential for long trips and long days. Weekend shifts are optional.
- Navigating efficiently throughout the state, including to key areas like Portland and Salem.
Qualifications
This role requires specific credentials and a commitment to safety and service. All applicants must:
- Be a minimum of 25 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Have at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Must live in Astoria, OR.
- Have the ability to pass a drug test (including marijuana) and a background check (no major felony convictions).
- Have familiarity with local areas and routes in Oregon.
- Customer service experience (1 year preferred) and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.
- A CDL is optional, not required.
