Key Responsibilities

In this essential workshop role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components. Your daily duties will include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to accurately carry out welding and fabrication tasks.
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal components according to precise project specifications.
• Performing MIG welding and conducting thorough finishing work, including grinding and surface preparation.
• Safely setting up, operating, and maintaining all welding and workshop equipment.
• Ensuring all welds meet stringent quality standards and project requirements.
• Providing support for on-site installation and rectification work as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for a practical and safety-conscious professional with the following:

• A minimum of 2 years of proven hands-on experience in MIG welding. A relevant welding certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using standard workshop equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.
• The ability to read drawings, follow SOPs meticulously, and complete tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Good physical fitness for heavy lifting and prolonged standing, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A reliable, team-oriented attitude with the capability to work independently when required.
