Key Responsibilities
Your core duty is the safe and timely transport of railroad crew members, providing a vital service.
- Safely pick up and drop off railroad crew members at requested destinations, prioritizing on-time performance and excellent customer service.
- Operate company-provided vehicles, conducting proper vehicle inspections and reporting any issues immediately.
- Communicate clearly and timely with the PTI Dispatch Center throughout your shift.
- Promote and practice safety awareness at all times, following all company policies and procedures.
- Assist crew members by opening and closing vehicle doors/hatches as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for responsible individuals who meet these fundamental requirements for safety and reliability.
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of personal or work-related driving experience is required.
- Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screening, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and a homeland security background check.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Shenandoah, VA branch location to ensure on-time reporting.
- A self-confident, outgoing, and dependable attitude is key to success in this customer-facing role.
