Key Responsibilities
You will be a specialist operator, ensuring our hard assets are cleaned to the highest standard.
- Operate commercial water blasting equipment to clean a variety of exterior building surfaces, pathways, and other hard landscapes.
- Scope, plan, and prepare work areas effectively before commencing cleaning tasks.
- Work to meet specific service delivery requirements and client expectations with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures, including safe work practices at heights.
- Perform routine maintenance and checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Collaborate closely with the wider team, assisting others as required to ensure project success.
Qualifications
We are looking for a safety-conscious professional with specific, relevant experience.
- Proven experience in commercial water blasting and the safe, effective use and maintenance of related equipment.
- A strong, demonstrated commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality procedures.
- Proven experience working at heights, with relevant certifications (e.g., EWP – Elevated Work Platform) highly desirable.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the commitment to complete work in all of Auckland’s unpredictable weather conditions.
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- A full driver’s licence is required.
