Key Responsibilities
You’ll be part of a crew delivering a wide range of gardening and maintenance services to keep our green spaces in top condition.
- Assist with a variety of garden maintenance tasks, including mowing, weeding, pruning, and hedge trimming.
- Help develop new garden beds and landscapes, and manage seasonal displays like hanging baskets.
- Perform hands-on vegetation control, including hand-pulling weeds and other manual tasks.
- Work collaboratively and safely within a team, following all health and safety procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, and the public.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment as required, after receiving proper guidance.
- Interact positively with community members and residents when working in public areas.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to work and learn.
- A full, current driver’s licence is essential; experience driving a manual vehicle is a plus.
- A solid work ethic, a hands-on ‘can-do’ attitude, and reliability are crucial.
- Good physical fitness to handle the role’s demands, including standing, bending, and manual labour.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, respectful manner.
- A willingness to learn and adhere to health and safety practices.
- No formal experience is required enthusiasm for the outdoors is your best asset.
