Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be trained to take on responsibility and drive reliability. Your role will include:
- Taking ownership of assigned equipment and areas, growing into a respected expert.
- Performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing problems, ordering parts, and making repairs across multiple trades: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, and fabrication.
- Strategically planning and executing PMs and repairs, using data to implement permanent solutions.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and quality teams to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Continuously developing your skills through internal training programs and adapting to new technologies as our site expands.
- Safely adhering to all procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, confined space, and PPE protocols.
Qualifications
We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute. You’ll need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A strong technical aptitude and a genuine love for learning.
- The ability to safely work in an industrial environment and use hand/power tools.
- The physical ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
- A valid driver’s license may be required.
Even better if you have:
- An associate degree in a technical field like Electro-Mechanical Technology.
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing.
- Hands-on mechanical or electrical repair experience.
