About the Role

This is a hands-on, casual cleaning position based at a reputable supermarket chain. You’ll be an essential part of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers during the early hours of the day. We provide all the training and equipment you need to succeed.  Your Key Responsibilities

Your focus will be on ensuring the supermarket is refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Your core duties will include:

• Performing a thorough clean of designated areas within the supermarket before it opens to the public.
• Tasks include vacuuming and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning glass doors and windows.
• Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Cleaning and sanitising restrooms and staff areas to a high standard.
• Restocking consumables like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Following all health and safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals correctly.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for candidates who are a great fit for our early morning team. The essentials are:

• You must have your own reliable transport and be living in Rotorua or a nearby surrounding area.
• A high level of reliability and punctuality the ability to commit to an early morning start time without fail.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
• A good level of physical fitness for a role that involves walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• A positive and willing-to-learn attitude. Full training is provided, so prior cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be available to start work immediately.
