Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient delivery of essential products. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle to deliver high-pressure cylinders, liquid containers, and hard goods to customer sites in the Cranbrook region.
• Meticulously loading, unloading, counting, and verifying all products to ensure accurate and complete deliveries.
• Ensuring full compliance with all Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations, including proper vehicle placarding and documentation.
• Completing all required shipping orders, trip reports, fuel tickets, and pre-post-trip inspection reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Performing thorough vehicle inspections and promptly reporting any mechanical defects or safety concerns to your supervisor.

Qualifications

To join our team and uphold our high standards of safety and service, you will need:

• A valid, incident-free provincial Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• A minimum of 3 years holding the license and 2 years of relevant professional driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Physical capability to repetitively handle cylinders and products, lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Current Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS certification, or the ability to obtain it promptly.
• A strong mechanical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and a responsible, reliable work ethic.
