Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious, appetizing meals for the client.
- Maintain the entire home to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness through routine and proactive cleaning.
- Manage all laundry, including washing, ironing, and changing bed linens.
- Conduct grocery shopping and run errands as required.
- Notice what needs to be done around the home and take initiative without constant direction.
- Interact confidently and respectfully with other family members and household staff.
Qualifications
The Right Person for This Role:
- Possesses good to excellent cooking skills and enjoys meal preparation.
- Is inherently organized, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home.
- Has a calm, cheerful, and helpful personality with a good sense of humour.
- Is extremely reliable, flexible, and discreet, with the maturity to work in a private home environment.
- Holds a current, clean driver’s licence.
- Previous experience in a similar household or support role is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
- Must have the current legal right to work in New Zealand (visa sponsorship is not available).
Additional Opportunity: Live-in accommodation in a separate flat within the home may be available for the right candidate.
