Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders to meet delivery commitments and quality standards, completing all required documentation.
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and processing defective returns.
- Ensure all shipping labels, packing lists, and other documents are complete and processed correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems in real-time to reflect stock movements.
- Identify and participate in opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and key performance metrics.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (forklift certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Your Background:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or similar logistics environment.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and establish daily priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
- The physical ability to perform essential job functions, including:
- Standing for prolonged periods.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Bending, stooping, squatting, and twisting.
- Working at heights exceeding 15 feet (if applicable).
- Forklift certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification.
