Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery, directly supporting our site’s material processing and handling.

• Skillfully and safely operate loaders and rock trucks to transport and place materials across the worksite.
•  Perform essential labour tasks related to crushing, including assisting with screen changes, shoveling material, and maintaining general site cleanliness around equipment.
•  Perform thorough pre-operational inspections and basic routine maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure it remains in safe, working order.
•  Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and regulations. Maintain clear, effective communication with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable team player with proven experience in an industrial operating environment.

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy-duty equipment (specifically loaders and rock trucks) in a mining, construction, or aggregate setting.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential for coordinating tasks and maintaining site safety.
• The physical ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and perform associated labour tasks.
• Familiarity with crushing plant operations is a strong asset that will be highly valued.
• Possession of a Class 1 driver’s license is a significant asset, though not mandatory for all candidates.
