Key Responsibilities

You will be the technical and operational link between project management and our specialised on-site crews. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Assist Construction Managers with planning specialised works, interpreting complex construction drawings, specifications, and codes (including the NCC).
  • Coordinate work programs, schedule specialised crews, and manage the deployment of high-tech equipment like remote-controlled demolition robots.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure all works comply with project specs, Australian Standards, and strict WHS protocols, with a focus on silica dust suppression and other critical controls.
  • Support the estimating process for specialised works and prepare accurate technical documentation, site records, and progress reports.
  • Act as a key point of contact, liaising effectively with builders, engineers, and site teams to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

We are looking for a technically minded professional with formal qualifications and practical site experience.

  • A Diploma of Building and Construction (or equivalent), either held or in progress, is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the commercial or civil construction industry.
  • The ability to accurately interpret complex plans, technical drawings, and documentation.
  • A solid understanding of WHS requirements and compliance on construction sites.
  • A proactive mindset suited to a coordination and site supervision role, managing technical workflows and problem-solving.
  • Appropriate Australian working rights, with eligibility for employer sponsorship (Subclass 482) considered.
