Key Responsibilities
You will be a key member of our civil team, executing complex strip-out, modification, and reinstatement works to a high standard. Your core duties will include:
- Performing detailed strip-out, demolition, and modification works in bedrooms, bathrooms, and plant rooms to facilitate new HVAC plant installation.
- Installing and reinstating fire-rated and acoustic systems (including Fyrchek, fire stopping, and linings) to exact specifications.
- Modifying walls, ceilings, floors, bulkheads, and door openings, and installing new framing and infill walls.
- Supporting structural steel installation by preparing openings and completing set-outs and reinstatement works.
- Working collaboratively and coordinating closely with electrical, mechanical, and structural trades to maintain project flow.
- Operating safely at heights using EWPs, ladders, and fixed systems, while adhering to strict site protocols for cleanliness, access, and dust management in an operational camp.
Qualifications
We are looking for trade-qualified professionals with specific experience and a strong safety mindset.
- A trade qualification as a Carpenter or proven extensive experience as a building tradesperson.
- Full Australian working rights and a valid White Card (Construction Induction).
- Essential experience working in live or occupied facilities such as camps, hotels, or operational buildings.
- Confidence in reading drawings, working to defined scopes, and coordinating with multiple trades and supervisors.
- Experience with fire-rated construction systems (Fyrchek/fire sealing) is highly preferred.
- The ability to work methodically in controlled environments with a relentless focus on safety and quality.
